junior high retreat

God’s creation, friends and you

a great time ahead

Haiku Friday

fallen leaves abound

crunching on the hidden path

as i ride along

this damp cool morning i found, under the withered leaves pumpkins blushing

this haiku comes from my wonderful sister-in law, who I hope has a few blushing pumpkins for us.

I put it in the traditional one line japanese format

it is a wonder
your glass is half full when it
may be half empty

one of my favorite people started a blog …this is for her

indian summer

hold off the cool autumn days

high of eighty six ninety one

Eighty six was the projected temperature, but it ended up as ninety one! Lucky it has the same number of syllables.
